Shawl Half Shells EN
Shawl Half Shells DE - Knitting pattern in English
(bearbeiten im Modul "Kundenvorteile")
The modified triangular shawl has a beautiful border with Half Shells based on a Rib stitch and the middle in Garter stitch. The pattern is fully reversable on both sides. A slightly curved shape lies comfortably around the shoulder and neck.
The Shell edges are knitted simultaneously with the middle part. There is no need to breake yarn. Everything is knitted with only one thread without knots. It gets a little trickier at the corners, which are worked with short rows. Don’t worry: The instructions are written step by step and with many charts.
There is an invisible seam over 13 stitches at the very end. You will also find step-by-step instructions and many links to free videos on how to make Graft in ribbing.
As you can see, this pattern is not for first-time knitters and very beginners. You have to be able to understand it all. But you never become a professional if you don’t dare to do more complicated things. It doesn’t get that difficult either ;)
